About Me
Hi there! I'm Sophie, an author and illustrator from New York City, currently located in Cambridge, UK. I graduated in 2018 from Dartmouth College with a major in Fine Art and a minor in Digital Arts. I just finished up my Masters in Children's Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art, where I received a Distinction and the Print Making Award.

I love working in the print room and am especially fond of processes that involve working in layers. My favourites include offset lithography, screenprinting, and risograph printing.

I have always been drawn to stories with an absurd or nonsensical element and hope to create a feeling of whimsy in my work. I am inspired by everyday life and the people around me and love trying to find magic in the mundane!
When I'm not doing art you’ll probably find me watching baseball, reading, or hanging out with my dogs, Theo, Ziggy, and Willow!
